Making Slides from Digital Images

A few weeks ago I posted about my new light box setup, and how I was no longer going to use film. There are numerous places to get film slides made from digital images, however I have never met anyone who was happy with the quality. Well, a fellow potter, George Laurell, emailed me about a company that he uses, iprintfromhome.com. He said he's been very happy with the results of their work. So I'll give them a try next time I need film slides, and if anyone else out there tries them out, let me know how it goes.

Please take some time to check out George's pottery here. He and his wife Elsie make very nice Arts and Crafts style pots. The 'About Us' section has some great shots of their studio, a detached building out behind their house, with lots of natural light and plenty of work space. It's a great setup. The 'Event's page has some good shots of their outdoor show booth, with an excellent modular shelf design. It looks to be very stable, and simple to set up and tear down.

Thanks for the slide recommendation, George!
